Allana was picked to be a part of Australia in the Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her off the field. It took a few years to Allana to return back into rugby league. The first time Allana played in a rugby league game for women came in 2015. She was a good player against Queensland as well as representing New South Wales. Allana is also a frequent radio host, and is regularly with 2GB's Continuous Call Team. Allana also holds a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson holds the rare honor of playing for Australia in three different sports: rugby sevens, rugby league and touch. Allana Ferguson, Jillaroos' most popular rugby player must end her career in the league due to tear her ACL 4 times. Ferguson ruptured her ACL four times, at ages 15, 17 and 20. The fourth time she was injured, her professional life was done. Ferguson, JILLAROOS' playmaker was required to quit early from the squad after suffering a 4th left ACL tear. Ferguson was injured in the month of November, during a training session. The Courier Mail confirmed that the news came this week. Ferguson has been the female rugby league's face for the past couple of seasons.
